Gromit Unleashed was a charity art exhibition involving 80 selected artists and designers who were invited to design the giant Gromit sculptures being exhibited in and around the city of Bristol in the UK.
The Gromit Unleashed Grand Appeal was curated by Aardman Animations, using animator Nick Park's well known character 'Gromit' from the television series 'Wallace and Gromit' as the sculpture’s form.
This Gromit design, titled 'Fiesta' drew inspiration from Bristol city itself. After a month long stint as part of a public arts trail, the sculpture was later auctioned, raising GBP 28k for the Bristol Children's Hospital.
Lindsay’s design featured as the 'Bristol Post' Newspaper header whilst the arts trail was taking place.
